Stratmoor, CO

Stratmoor is a mid-size city in central Colorado that is located at the base of the Front Range, 65 miles south of Denver. Stratmoor has warm summers and mild winters, which make the city an excellent location for a variety of outdoor activities. The best months to visit Stratmoor include August, July, and September. The least pleasant month is December.

Stratmoor is home to a variety of home designs. The typical home is between one and two thousand square feet, and was developed in the 1950s. Since then, the neighborhood has seen development in almost every decade, with homes featuring a variety of styles. Stratmoor is convenient to downtown Colorado Springs and offers access to many amenities. Additionally, Stratmoor is zoned to the Widefield School District 3, which offers children access to both Harrison High School and Mountain Vista Elementary School. Stratmoor is also part of the Southwest Colorado Springs MLS area.

Stratmoor is located in El Paso County, and is a largely suburban community. As of 2010, the community had a population of 6,900 people. Stratmoor is near Fort Carson and World Arena. The city is home to a Walmart and Sam’s Club. It is a popular location for families and retirees.
